Tammie Peterson, 65, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, James LaFerry; parents, Wanda Eaves (Ronnie); brother, Samual Eaves; grandparents, Fred LaFerry (Edna), Grover Wilson (Clara) and Jerry Eaves (Hazel).

Tammie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael Ray Peterson; sons, Michael Peterson II (Mishelle), Jason Peterson (Karen) and Blaze Peterson; daughters, Stephanie Talton (Anthony) and Grace Peterson; brother, James LaFerry; sisters, Debi Sitz (Roger), Julia Law Castle and Rebecca Clark (John); bonus parents, Edna Jones (Aaron); seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Michael Peterson II, Jason Peterson, Josh Creamer, Dylan Cope, Tim Lane and Lee Williams IV.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home @ Hwy 58. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow with Michael Ford officiating.

Tammie will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
