Tina Hicks, 59, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025.  Tina was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a 1984 graduate of Kirkman High School.  She graduated from Chattanooga State in 2002 with a criminal justice degree.  Tina was employed as a caregiver all of her life.  She was very adventurous and enjoyed camping and beach trips.  Tina was also an avid TN Vols fan and animal lover.  Her favorite number was 47.  Tina loved her family dearly and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Alvin Hicks and Dorothy Jean Gann Hicks, as well as brother, Jamie Roger Hicks.

Tina is survived by her longtime partner, Stanley Mayton; daughter, April "Nikki" Lees (Anthony); son, Stanley Mayton (Loren); granddaughter, Tabitha Brown; grandsons, Bradley Lees and Emmanuel Powell; sister, Gail Duffey; brothers, Wayne Hicks (Carolyn), Wesley Hicks (Stacy); sisters-in-law, Kaye "Corkie" McPhail and Paula Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Chaplain Bobby Lewis officiating.

Tina will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
