Troy Lee Martin, 76, passed away on December 16, 2022.  He was lovingly known as "Mr. Troy" to many who knew him.  Troy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and with his friends at the YMCA and the Harrison Recreational Ball Park.  He was a kind and resilient soul who was devoted to the Chattanooga community.  Troy was a member and greeter at Oakwood Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and church community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Vandora Martin, and brother, Gold Martin.

Troy is survived by his sons, Travis Martin, Kevin Martin and Michael Martin (Emily); grandsons, Payton Martin and Brett Martin; granddaughter, Brianna Martin; brother, Jerry Martin (Kim), and sisters, Charlotte Martin, Robin Martin, and Shirley Martin Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 12:15 p.m. with Pastor Ken Clark officiating.

Troy will be laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
