Velma Dunn
Velma Ruth Dunn, 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. She was a member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Effie Masters Hardy and husband, Charles McGee Dunn.
She is survived by her son, Glenn (Hortencia) Dunn; daughter, Betty Jean (Robert) Hale; grandchildren, Jason (Rhiannon) Dunn, Jessica Fitzgerald, Angelia Hale, Robert (Kisha) Hale and Cristy Hale; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4– 8 pm at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
Velma will be laid to rest next to her husband Charles with graveside services at 11 am on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
