Virginia Brigman

On April 18, 2017, Virginia (Ginny) Brigman won her battle of many years of multiple health issues and departed this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to spend eternity with God the Father.

Ginny was born 80 years ago in Boston Massachusetts to Joseph and Theresa Shield. Ginny had six brothers and two sisters. She was the mother of nine children; Andrew, James, Laura, William, Kenny, Thomas, Carol, Edward and Ann Marie. She had many grand and great grandchildren. Ginny leaves family and many friends in Hamlet, North Carolina, where she was a devoted wife for 44 years.

The family would like to give thanks to Ginny's guardian angel.

Ginny will be loved and missed by all who knew her and we look forward to re-uniting with her in her heavenly home.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 6-8 pm in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Manning officiating. Interment will follow at New McDonald Cemetery.
