Vivian Madewell, 88, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, left this earth for her heavenly home on June 29, 2021. She was born December 8,1932 and was a graduate of Tyner High School.  Vivian was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana, and a longtime member of Morris Hill Baptist Church, where she taught in their weekday preschool ministry for many years. She brought joy and a smile to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Correll, and father, William Finnell.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 71 years, Angus Madewell; children, Sheila (Gary) Brooks, of Harrison, Bruce (Kelly) Madewell of Chattanooga, and Mark (Michelle) Madewell of Grapevine, TX; grandchildren, Adam Watkins of Chattanooga, Ashley (John) Mobley of Fort Worth TX, Lindsey (Jesse) Lusignan of Canton GA, Katie (Cody) Jones of White GA, and Rani Madewell of Weatherford TX; three great-grandchildren, Baylee Mobley, Briggs Mobley, and Abigail Lusignan, as well as and many cousins and extended family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
