Wanda Harden Davis, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Georgetown, Tennessee, on March 30, 2021.

She was born and raised in Avondale and enjoyed many lifelong friendships with people from her childhood and teen years.  Wanda and her brother, Sonny, organized the first Avondale Reunion and after his death, she continued to work on the reunion until last year when she was physically unable to continue.  Wanda had deep love for the Lord and over the last few years she spent many hours studying her Bible.  She attended Spring Creek Road Church of God, and was employed at Oscar's and Kmart for most of her working career.  Wanda loved her family and friends deeply.

She is proceeded in death by her son, Mark Davis; parents, Frank & Ora Harden, and siblings, Barbara Jeanette Shoemake Burke, Lela Sue Brotherton, and Frank D. "Sonny" Harden.

Wanda is survived by her children, Jackie (Greg) Bush, and Dean (Jennifer) Davis; grandchildren, Austin Bush, Haven Bush, Emily (Cade) Lawson, Andrew Davis, Gracie Davis, Madison York, and Tyler Slayton; siblings, Phyllis (Charles) Oliver, Charles (Sue) Harden, John (Arlee) Harden, Carolyn (Jerry) Gilliam, Jan (Johnny) Burke, Sheilah Harden; sister-in-law, Rita Harden Haynes; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 12 - 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58 Chapel.  A graveside service will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Grady Cooper officiating.
