Turner Funeral Home, Inc.

Our Family Serving Your Family Since 1936

Established in 1936, Turner Funeral Home is the oldest funeral home in Chattanooga, still locally owned and operated by the founding family. As the only "Golden Rule" funeral home in Chattanooga, we provide families with a personalized service with respect, dignity, and care. These principles and values have made Turner Funeral Home a leader in our community for over 85 years.

We offer meaningful burial and cremation services to honor the life of a loved one, all at one location. We offer families full or basic funeral services that include a traditional chapel, graveside, or church funeral with burial or cremation following. For families wanting cremation services, we offer a range of options from a 'Celebration of Life' service in our chapel, to family and public gatherings, to a direct cremation service. Turner Funeral Home's recently renovated facility features large visitation staterooms, an on-site chapel with capacity for over 200 guests, a large cafe lounge, and spacious, ground-level parking.

On this journey, some of the many arrangements we will help you with include: file and secure death certificates, file insurance policies, contact cemeteries, secure forms for Social Security and veterans' burials, post obituaries in the newspaper/online websites, and much more. We now offer a live stream option for those families who may wish to record the chapel service or who might have friends or family who are unable to attend in person. All services are offered at a single location, for comfort and ease.

We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you and your family and can be reached at 423-622-3171. Let us help you with pre-planning any type of service you need.
